Alexander Pirozhenko

Alexander Pirozhenko serves as the Deputy Director at the Agency of Strategic Initiatives since 2018, where key contributions include developing and approving the agency's strategy in 2018 and presenting the National Social Initiative to the State Council of the Russian Federation in 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Executive Director at JSC "ANGSTREM" (2016-2017), focusing on crisis management and operational stability, and Chief Executive Director at VNIIMETMASH Holding Company (2014-2016), where successful restructuring and debt repayment were achieved to avoid bankruptcy. Alexander also held the position of Head of Department at the Ministry for Economic Development of the Russian Federation (2008-2011), overseeing the development of competition policy, and was Chief of the Energy Department at the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (2004-2009). Academically, Alexander holds a Master of Public Administration from The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration obtained between 1994 and 1999.
