Dr. Madana Bachika has over 13 years of experience in the field of data science. In 2021, they began working as the Managing Director & Head of Operations (India) for Anicca Data Science Solutions. In 2015, they worked as Senior Data Scientist for Brillio, where they provided technical direction and establishing strategic roadmaps for developing big data infrastructure and analytics platform for Microsoft, to understand and optimize Azure infrastructure and capacity fulfillment. In 2012, they worked as Research Scientist, Data Science & Analytics for StubHub Inc., (eBay Inc.,) where they delivered analytical solutions to realize $30M savings in fraud prevention and streamlined effort to increase customer engagement and conversion within a secondary ticket market place. In 2009, they worked as Sr. Lead Analyst, Knowledge Services for Infosys, where they provided analytical support for iCloud and corresponding features at Apple computers to understand the performance of iCloud right from its unveiling. In 2008, they worked as Associate Consultant, Knowledge Services for Infosys BPO, where they provided analytical support on Bing search engine performance and advertiser churn analysis for Microsoft to understand its search engine performance. In 2007, they worked as Analyst, Analytics Research and Modelling for BA Continuum Solutions Private Limited, where they provided analytical support to the Bank of America for various functional areas using Minitab and SAS.

Dr. Madana Bachika began their educational career in 1997 when they earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Statistics from Sri Krishnadevaraya University. Dr. Madana then went on to earn a P G Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Hyderabad in 2004-2005. Dr. Madana followed this up with a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Statistics from Sri Krishnadevaraya University in 2003-2006, and finally completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Statistics from Sri Krishnadevaraya University in 2006-2008.
