Clarisse B. is an accomplished leader with significant experience in the fields of biotechnology and social impact. As the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Cellcraft since June 2020, Clarisse B. focuses on developing enabling technologies for Cultured Meat, aiming to make sustainable food more accessible. Recently, Clarisse B. joined Founders Pledge as a member, contributing to a global community of entrepreneurs dedicated to social impact. Previously, Clarisse B. served as Community Engagement Officer at Effective Altruism Cambridge from October 2019 to November 2023, and held brief roles as Campaigns Ambassador at The Humane League and Science Intern at The Good Food Institute in 2018. Clarisse B. holds a Master of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge and a Joint Honours BSc in Biological Sciences and Management from Imperial College London.
