Liberty Mulkani has extensive experience in operations and event management. They began their career at the Animal Legal Defense Fund in 2002 as a Student Liaison and Program Assistant. They then worked at Telescopic Camera Cranes Ltd. as an Office Manager from 2005 to 2013. In 2006, Liberty founded Liberated Productions Incorporated, where they served as a Founder and Event Producer until 2017. They returned to the Animal Legal Defense Fund in 2016 and held the roles of Events Manager, Project Management Program Director, and currently serve as the Director of Operations. In these roles, Liberty has overseen internal and external event production, project management, budgeting, and facility management. They have also led teams during software implementations and ensured the successful transition of events from in-person to virtual formats during the pandemic.
Liberty Mulkani graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Simon Fraser University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Liberty later pursued higher education and obtained a Masters of Education degree in Humane Education from Cambridge College, where they attended from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Liberty Mulkani obtained a certification in the Animal Legal Defense Fund Management Development Program from USC Marshall Executive Education in December 2021.
