Elif Y.

Elif Y. is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Information Compliance Officer at the University of Reading since January 2023. In addition, Elif has been a Legal Counsel at the Ankara Bar Association since September 2019, overseeing Turkey operations for an international firm and ensuring compliance with legal standards for corporate operations and Data Protection Law. Previous roles include serving as a Policy and Development Intern for UNHCR, where Elif managed compliance with Data Protection Laws and prepared documents for refugee groups, and as an Editor and Writer for GazeteBilkent.
