Ann Bancroft

Ann Bancroft is a highly accomplished leader and advocate for women's and girls' empowerment. Currently serving as Director at BAE Institute since December 2004, Ann focuses on experiential education programs that cultivate leadership skills and sustainability. In addition, Ann has been the Director of Bancroft Arnesen Explore since May 1986, leading initiatives such as Access Water, which highlights the global issue of access to clean water through major expeditions. As a motivational speaker, Ann draws on over three decades of extreme expedition experience to inspire audiences with themes of passion, purpose, and teamwork. Furthermore, Ann founded the Ann Bancroft Foundation in 1997, which supports Minnesota girls in building confidence and pursuing their dreams through mentorship and resources. Ann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education/Special Education from the University of Oregon and graduated from Two Rivers High School (Sibley HS).
