Alexander Sigrist has a diverse range of work experience. Alexander began their career as a Supplemental Instructor at Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2011. Alexander then went on to work as a Guest English Teacher with the English Program in Korea (EPIK) from 2012 to 2013, where they taught high school-level English classes and developed effective lesson plans.
After their time in Korea, Alexander worked as a Native English Instructor at Dongmak English Academy from 2013 to 2014. In this role, they collaborated with other teachers to create and present English lessons, developed curriculums, and conducted student evaluations.
From 2014 to 2015, Alexander joined the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) as an Assistant Language Teacher. Alexander co-taught classes, moderated debate teams, and judged speech contests.
In 2015, Alexander briefly worked as an Administrative Assistant at Randstad USA.
From 2016 to 2017, Alexander gained experience in the healthcare industry as a Unit Coordinator and later as an Emergency Department Secretary at Northwell Health. Alexander performed various administrative duties, developed productivity evaluations, and provided research and administrative support.
In 2018, Alexander transitioned to the field of data analysis and worked as a Data Analyst at the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission. In this role, they implemented reporting systems, created resources for drivers, and revised exam questions.
Alexander continued their data analysis career at Rakuten Advertising from 2021 to 2022, where they worked as a Data Analyst.
Currently, Alexander is employed at Annalect as a Senior Data Analyst, a role they started in June 2022.
In addition to their work experience, Alexander also obtained a Data Science Certificate through Metis's data science bootcamp in 2021. The program covered a range of topics in data science, data analytics, machine learning, and programming.
Alexander Sigrist completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and International Studies at Ramapo College of New Jersey from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Science degree in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. In 2020, they also completed a short-term program in Beginner Python & Math for Data Science at Metis.
