Joshua Mitchell Cole

Joshua Mitchell Cole has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Joshua'smost recent role is as a Data Engineer at Annalect, where they are currently employed. Prior to this, they worked at Czarnikow as a Data Engineer and BI Developer, where they were responsible for building and implementing internal ETL pipelines, maintaining a Power BI Reporting Server, and designing bespoke Power BI reports. Joshua also managed and scoped out architectural design for internal Data Marts. Before that, Joshua worked as a Graduate Data Engineer at Czarnikow.

Joshua has also gained experience as a Physics and Mathematics Tutor at MyTutor.co.uk, where they taught over 150 hours of lessons to help students reach their potential. Joshua also participated in the Schools Programme, funded by the government, to support disadvantaged pupils.

Additionally, Joshua worked as a Trainee Software Development Consultant at Sparta Global, an UpReach Professional Services and Technology Intern at upReach, and a Research Assistant at the University of Exeter, where they gained research experience in the Quantum Systems and Nanomaterials group.

Joshua's early work experience includes being a Customer Team Member at Co-op, where they developed interpersonal skills and trained new staff, a Summer Intern at KPMG UK, and a Work Shadower at Dorset County Council, where they gained insight into different departments within the financial services team.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they studied at Thomas Hardye Sixth Form, focusing on A-levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Biology.
