Brynjar Petursson Young has a diverse work experience in the fields of finance and real estate. Brynjar Petursson is currently serving as the COO at Annata. Brynjar Petursson also advised Arion Bank on the restructuring of SMI Properties and worked with several Icelandic Pension funds. Brynjar lectured on Corporate Restructuring at Reykjavik University and authored case studies on various companies. Additionally, they have held positions as a Director at Auður Capital, Co-Founder and Partner at Strada Partners, and Senior Manager at Landsbanki. Brynjar Petursson also founded Annata hf. in 2000.

Brynjar Petursson Young has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Operations from Háskóli Íslands/University of Iceland, which was completed between 1993 and 1997.
