Selin Kunc has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Selin started their career as an Engineering Intern at INTER ABRASIV in 2014, where they worked on the production of coated abrasives and developed a project layout for packaging standardization. Selin then worked as a Research Assistant at Merrimack College from 2017 to 2018, conducting research on fiber reinforced plastic laminated beams for energy harvesting. Selin optimized data and performed computational analysis using Matlab and Finite Element Analysis. In 2018, Selin joined Heraeus as a Research and Development Engineer, focusing on the development of new technologies. Currently, they hold the position of Sr. Engineer at Anodyne Nanotech, Inc., which they started in 2020.
Selin Kunc obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manisa Celal Bayar Üniversitesi. Selin studied at the university from 2009 to 2014. Selin furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Merrimack College. Selin attended Merrimack College from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their degrees, Selin Kunc has obtained two additional certifications: Operational Excellence Foundations from LinkedIn in February 2023 and Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn in May 2019.
