Kelly Dorothy has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Kelly started as a Behavior Intervention Specialist at Anoka-Hennepin School District in 2003 and later became a Special Education Lead Teacher at the same district in 2016. Kelly also worked as a Q-Comp Peer Evaluator at Anoka-Hennepin School District from 2013 to 2015. In 2019, they transitioned to Wayzata Public Schools as a Special Education Coordinator until 2020. Concurrently, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Concordia University-St. Paul starting in 2014. Currently, they are a Behavior Strategist at Minnetonka Public school District, a position they took up in August 2020.
Kelly Dorothy completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Special Education and Teaching at Minnesota State University, Mankato from 1991 to 1996. Kelly then went on to earn their Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from St. Mary's University in Minneapolis, MN from 2008 to 2013.
