Melanie Veale

Data Solutions Architect at Anomalo

Melanie Veale is a Data Solutions Architect at Anomalo since February 2023, bringing extensive experience from previous roles at Domino Data Lab from January 2019 to February 2023, which included positions as Field Data Scientist, Field Engineer, and Technical Support Engineer. Prior to this, Melanie participated as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, developing the ToonCropper web application. Academic contributions include a postdoctoral researcher role at the University of California, Berkeley, where Melanie constructed a pipeline for galaxy modeling and supervised graduate student instructors. Melanie holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Astrophysics and Physics, respectively, from the University of California, Berkeley, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Japanese Language and Literature from Washington University in St. Louis.
