Gallo Lucio has extensive work experience in various senior roles within the energy, transportation, and manufacturing sectors. Gallo began their career at Pragma SpA as a Technical & Project Manager in 1981 before moving on to 3M Italy as Divisional Engineering and Instrumentation and Control Manager. Lucio then joined Ansaldo Trasporti SpA as a Planning and Control Manager and later became the Vice President of Ansaldo Trasporti Group Planning & Management Control. Gallo then worked at Ganz Ansaldo as the Executive Manager of the Transformer and Rotating Machines Divisions. In 1999, Lucio joined Fincantieri - Cantieri Navali Italiani S.p.A. as the Executive Senior Vice President of the Cruise Division. Gallo went on to serve as the General Manager at Ansaldobreda before joining Ansaldo Energia in 2007. At Ansaldo Energia, Lucio held various positions, including Vice President and CEO of Ansaldo Fuel Cells, Vice President of Renewable and Distributed Energy, and Senior Corporate Vice President of Environment Health and Safety. Gallo recently retired as the Former Senior Corporate Vice President of Environment Health and Safety at Ansaldo Energia in 2019.
Gallo Lucio completed an MBA with high honors in 1988 at SDA Bocconi in Milano. Prior to that, from 1975 to 1981, they obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering, graduating with top honors (110/110 lode) from Università Federico II Napoli, specifically from the Faculty of Engineering.
