Chamila Wijerathna

Chamila Wijerathna is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in plant engineering and management. Currently serving as Sr. Manager Engineering at Ansell since November 2015, Chamila has successfully overseen multiple glove dipping lines and significant post-processing equipment while enhancing overall equipment effectiveness and safety standards. Previous roles include Assistant Manager Engineering at CEAT Tyres Limited, where the management of plant utilities was a key responsibility, and Business Partner at Innovative Polymer Industries, focusing on the growth of a packaging manufacturing business. Earlier experience includes plant maintenance leadership at Phoenix Industries and mechanical engineering roles with State Engineering Corporation of Sri Lanka and Consulting Engineers & Contractors (Pvt) Ltd. Chamila holds an MBA from London Metropolitan University and a BSc in Production Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, along with a TPM Practitioner Certificate from the Institute of Lean Management.
