Mardi Caminer currently serves as the Grodzin Director of Education & Innovation and Director of K-7th Grade Education at Anshe Emet Synagogue since July 2022. Concurrently, Mardi acts as the Young Alumni Representative on the Vanderbilt Hillel Board of Directors, focusing on engaging recent graduates. Previous experience includes roles as a M.S.Ed student at the University of Pennsylvania, Teacher Leader for Special Education at District of Columbia Public Schools from June 2020 to July 2022, and Special Education Teacher at Marie Reed from August 2018 to July 2022. Mardi has also contributed as a coach for DC SCORES, Lead Unit Head at JCC Chicago, President of Vanderbilt Hillel, Religious School Teacher at West End Synagogue, and Co-Founder & Treasurer of Challah for Hunger at Vanderbilt University. Mardi holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s in Special Education and Teaching from Vanderbilt University.
