Saroj M Joseph has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Saroj M started their career as a Sales Executive at Britannia Industries Limited in 2003. Saroj M then worked as a Journalist for The Statesman in 2005. Following that, they joined Infosys BPM as a Corporate Marketing Executive, where they supported media relations and crisis communication efforts.

In 2009, Saroj joined LUSH as a PR & Communications Manager, responsible for media visibility, retail communication, and branding strategies. Saroj M later transitioned to Bangalore International Airport Ltd, where they worked in Corporate Communications. In this role, they focused on external communications, PR, social/online media, and crisis/reputation management.

In 2018, Saroj became the Manager of Communications for AB InBev India, leading communication and employer branding efforts. Saroj M created the employer branding arm and built the communication portfolio for the organization's Global Capability Centre and Global Analytics Centre.

From 2019 to 2021, Saroj served as the Head of Marketing Communications for Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited, overseeing the company's MarComm portfolio nationwide.

In 2021, they joined Zinnov as the Head of Employer Branding & Communications, advising F500 and nimble companies on rebranding and brand positioning decisions, as well as offering strategic guidance on PR, social media communication, and internal communication.

Currently, Saroj is the Director & Practice Lead of Employer Branding & Communications Consulting at ANSR, where their team helps global customers build and scale their centers in India by crafting and delivering their unique brand identity and value proposition. Saroj M also advises and supports them on strategic communications, social media, and internal communication to ensure consistent and authentic brand messaging.

Saroj M Joseph holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication from Commits - Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication, which was obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, Saroj completed a BA degree in Sociology, History & Economics from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata, from 2001 to 2004. Saroj's high school education was completed at St. Thomas School, majoring in Humanities, from 1999 to 2001. In addition to these formal degrees, Saroj has obtained various certifications, including Canine Communication 101 from BHARCS and Canine communications from Udemy in 2022, The 22 Immutable Laws of Branding (Blinkist Summary) from LinkedIn in 2020, and Learning Personal Branding from LinkedIn in 2019. Saroj has also obtained certifications in Digital Marketing Workshop and Social Media Marketing Workshop from Digital Vidya in 2015. Furthermore, Saroj has acquired additional skills and knowledge through certifications such as Practice the reading room from LinkedIn and Victim Support and Media Management from Airports Council International - ACI World.
