Melody Jaros

Melody Jaros is a seasoned UX researcher and designer currently serving as the Lead UX Researcher at Amex Digital Labs with AnswerLab since February 2022. In this role, Melody has directed UX strategy, conducted over 130 research projects, and implemented initiatives to enhance collaboration and UX maturity within teams. Prior experience includes freelance UX research and design for educational institutions, leading to significant increases in feature discoverability and community engagement. Previous roles also include developing innovative strategies for educators and enhancing customer experiences during a tenure at the University of Rochester, where notable achievements included three national awards for customer satisfaction. Melody holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Boston University and dual bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and American Sign Language from the University of Rochester, supplemented by a UX Design certification from Designlab.
