Ian Lockley

Ian Lockley possesses extensive experience in sales and engineering within the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) sector. Currently serving as a Senior Product Sales Manager for Optimization & AI/ML Solutions at Ansys since December 2024, Lockley previously held the position of Principal Solutions Engineer at Luminary Cloud, where technical pre-sales leadership resulted in over 50 new client acquisitions. Prior to this, Lockley was at Ansys for 15 years in various roles, including Principal Application Engineer, focusing on technical engagements and account management. Lockley started their career at Fluent Inc. as a Sales Engineer, driving significant revenue growth in the automotive market. Earlier experiences include engineering roles at Westport, where expertise in ignition technology and compressor design was developed. Lockley holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London.
