Thomas Barton

Thomas Barton has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Thomas is currently the Founder & CEO of Antaris Inc, a space technology company. Prior to Antaris, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Diamanti from 2018 to 2021 and as the Chief Operating Officer of Planet Labs from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, Thomas has held leadership positions as the CEO of Canara/IntelliBatt, CEO of Rackable Systems, and Senior Vice President of Client Services at Red Hat. Thomas has also been involved in venture capital as a General Partner at Broken Arrow Venture Capital and as a Venture Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners. Thomas Barton's career includes board membership at Webgistix and serving as the Interim CEO of Cygnus Solutions.

Thomas Barton attended Awalt High School, but it is unclear when they graduated or any specific degree or field of study completed. Later on, they pursued higher education at Stanford University from 1981 to 1986, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts (AB) in History. After a gap in their education, Thomas Barton enrolled at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 1991 to 1993, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
