Costas Colombus has extensive work experience in the field of technology and media. Costas most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer at Antenna starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Technology, Projects and Support at BCE - Broadcasting Center Europe from 2018 to 2020. At BCE, they also served as the Manager of Special Projects and was responsible for overseeing the implementation of IP Routing and managing the implementation of various special projects.
Before joining BCE, Colombus worked at Alpha TV Media Group as the CTO/CIO from 2005 to 2015, where they were responsible for establishing the company's technical vision and managing a team of 160 people. Costas also served as the Chief Engineer at Alpha TV Media Group from 1998 to 2005, leading a team of 15 and taking care of television production equipment.
Colombus also held the position of CTO/CIO at RTL Group / Alpha Media Group from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they worked at Television Software TV-SW as a senior developer from 2003 to 2006, and at Alpha Skopje as a consulting technical director in 2002.
Earlier in their career, Colombus worked at Alpha Digital as a project technical director from 2000 to 2002, and at Alpha Sports Radio as a project technical director from 1999 to 2000. Costas also had a role as a consulting technical director at Polis TV in 1999. Their career began at SKAI TV as an MCR/NOC Engineer from 1994 to 1998, where they were responsible for monitoring and ensuring the technical transmission and quality of broadcasts.
Costas Colombus attended The Open University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a BSc (Honours) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
