James Girotti

James Girotti is an experienced analytical scientist with a diverse background in drug development and analytical support. Currently employed at Antheia, Inc. since May 2021, James provides analytical support for the downstream processing of biosynthetically produced active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and starting materials. Previously, at Genentech, James served as a scientific researcher and contributed to pre-clinical new molecular entities (NME), in addition to working as a software developer and research associate. Early experience includes roles at AP Pharma and Covance, focusing on analytical chemistry and method development. James also has managerial experience as a team leader at Promotion Support Services. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an Associate of Applied Science in Chemistry from Black Hawk College.
