Marin Cauvas

Marin is an Investment Principal at Anthemis, where he helps discover, evaluate and execute investments as well as provide support for Anthemis portfolio companies. He brings in-depth knowledge of the financial services sector particularly in the asset management and alternative lending industries, and has first-hand operational experience in incubating startups in this space.

Prior to joining Anthemis, Marin was an Investment Associate at Innoventures, the fintech venture arm of Santander and, prior to that, was a member of the Alternative Finance team at Liberum Capital. Marin started his career at BlackRock in the alternative investment division.

Marin holds a master’s degree in investment management from CASS Business School and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the European Business School. He is a passionate surfer and rock climber.
