Gray Maguire

Gray is the former Green Economy Coordinator at the Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning at Western Cape Government. He is the programme lead for South Africa’s first listed VM0042 – Improved Agricultural Land-use Management methodology carbon credit programme and the co-chair of the Carbon Hub of the Sustainable Landscape Finance Coalition. He holds a post-graduate degree in Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies from the University of the Western Cape and wrote his Masters thesis on private investment in sustainable land-use management at the WITS University.
