Beth Mathews

Beth Mathews serves as the Conference Chair for the Northwest Anthropological Association since March 2024 and has been the Historian, Archaeologist, and Chief Executive Officer of AntiquityConsulting since its founding in April 2018. With a strong background in cultural resource management in the Northwest, Beth Mathews aims to enhance the quality of archaeological and historical research in the southern Puget Sound while promoting equity within the field. Academic credentials include a Certificate in Museology/Museum Studies from the University of Washington, a Master of Arts in Archaeology from Simon Fraser University, a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Western Washington University, and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Foothill College.
