Tim Desmet

Tim Desmet is a seasoned professional in the fields of chemistry and business development, currently serving as the Founder of CitroenCitroen Consultancy since June 2021, where assistance is provided to companies facing technical and chemical challenges. Tim also holds the position of Business Developer for Advanced Cell and Tissue Therapy at Ghent University, focusing on the commercialization of innovative therapies. As an independent consultant for Antleron in the regenerative medicine sector since September 2014, Tim has effectively contributed to advancements in biomaterials. Previous roles include Senior Development Chemist at Arteco NV and New Business Development and Innovation Manager at Agfa, where Tim led feasibility research in inks and coatings. Tim has a strong academic background with a PhD in Chemistry from Ghent University and an executive MBA from Vlerick Business School.
