Charles Amick

Charles Amick has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data science and technology. Charles has held various leadership roles in prominent companies such as AnyDesk Software, BeViral Media LLC, Devo, LiveAction - Visual Network Analytics, LogicNow, Autotegrity ADP, Bridgewater Associates, and Vistaprint.

At AnyDesk Software, Charles currently serves as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Data Science, a role they began in 2023.

Before that, Charles worked as the President of BeViral Media LLC from 2013, where they provided data science consulting services to clients from different industries. Their responsibilities included building data warehouses, developing predictive models, and formulating strategies to help clients achieve their business objectives.

Charles had a series of roles at Devo, starting from 2017. Charles served as the VP of Data, where they were responsible for the company's Data Science/AI/ML roadmap, providing consulting services to customers, and showcasing the capabilities of the Devo platform. Prior to that, they held roles such as Field CTO, VP of Integration and Application Engineering, and VP of Presales Engineering.

From 2016 to 2018, Charles was the VP of Data at LiveAction - Visual Network Analytics. In this position, they delivered data-driven products to customers and helped them understand network traffic through visualizations.

At LogicNow, Charles worked as the Director of Strategic Data Projects from 2014 to 2016. Their responsibilities included building and maintaining a data warehouse and using data for internal customers.

Charles started their career at Autotegrity ADP in 2009, working as a Senior Software Engineer. Charles later held roles such as Director of Optimization and Chief Data Scientist, where they led teams focused on optimization, data analysis, and strategy development. Autotegrity ADP was acquired by ADP in December 2011.

In addition to these roles, Charles also had internships at Bridgewater Associates and Vistaprint in 2007 and 2008, respectively.

Charles Amick attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, with a focus on Music. Charles then went on to complete a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the same institution from 2008 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Charles has obtained several certifications, including being a Devo Certified Platform User from Devo in June 2020, an AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from AWS in November 2019.
