Sebastian Bender

Sebastian Bender has an extensive work experience in the analytics field. Sebastian started their career as a Credit Risk Analyst at Klarna in 2010 and eventually worked their way up to become the Chief Analytics Officer at Anyfin in 2019. Between 2013 and 2015, Sebastian served as the Manager of Predictive Modelling and then became the Director of Credit Underwriting at Klarna. From 2016 to 2018, they held the positions of Director of Data Science and Director of Analytics Nordics. During their time at Klarna, Sebastian was responsible for leading the analytics team for their credit products, focusing on credit risk assessment, customer behavior and preferences, as well as performance and follow-ups.

Sebastian Bender obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Stockholm University between the years 2005 and 2008. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same institution and completed a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from 2005 to 2009. Later, Sebastian undertook postgraduate studies at Stockholm University and attained a Master's degree in Banking and Finance, which took place from 2008 to 2010.
