Yu Chen

Yu (Hugo) Chen is a distinguished professional in the field of artificial intelligence and engineering. Currently serving as Co-founder and VP of Engineering at Anytime AI since November 2023, Yu leads a global technical team focused on developing an AI product aimed at transforming the legal industry for 1.3 million lawyers. Previously, Yu was Co-founder and Head of Machine Learning at Facebook AI, where contributions included significant applied AI research. Earlier experiences include a Graduate Research Assistant role at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, focusing on Natural Language Processing and Graph Machine Learning, and an AI Research Internship at IBM that involved building a conversational recommendation system. Yu’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor's in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
