Keith Heaton

Keith joined AOTI in November 2022 as Chief Innovation Officer following the acquisition of NEXA Medical Limited by AOTI. Keith has a Masters in Engineering Design Management and post graduate qualifications in International Patent Law and Trade Marks. Previously, Keith ran the International R&D team for KCI Medical, who were responsible for the development of the first commercial NPWT device and latterly in charge of the Innovation team out of the UK. In 2009, Keith started i2r Medical with his co-director. i2r Medical is a specialist innovation company focused on translation of unmeet healthcare needs into commercially successful medical devices. NEXA Medical was incorporated in 2015 by the two directors of i2r Medical in order to develop and commercialize a revolutionary NPWT device which is now being marketed by AOTI. Keith is a named inventor on over 40 patent family inventions.
