Gratian Punchiwedikkarage

Gratian Punchiwedikkarage is a seasoned professional in the electrical engineering and energy sectors, currently serving as Manager of Strategic Network Planning for Electricity Transmission at APA Group since April 2023. Previously, Gratian held the position of Connections Lead - Market Development at AusNet Services from April 2022 to April 2023. Gratian’s extensive experience at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) includes roles as Manager - National Connections (Acting) and Specialist Engineer from November 2010 to April 2022. Earlier in the career, Gratian worked as an Electrical Engineer in Power System Operations at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) from November 2005 to August 2010. Gratian holds a BSc in Engineering (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a Diploma in Marketing from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing-SLIM.
