Michael Forde

Michael Forde is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in treasury, capital markets, and risk management. Currently serving as the Group Treasurer at APA Group since January 2022, Michael leads a team responsible for managing an $11 billion corporate debt portfolio and overseeing cash and funding positions. Prior roles include Executive Director at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where Michael established the Australia branch and built a $2 billion client portfolio, and various senior positions at RBS International, CIMB, and AMP, focusing on capital optimization, hybrid capital origination, and treasury management. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Business Administration from the University of Canterbury, a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from Victoria University of Wellington, and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
