Viswanathan N has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Viswanathan is currently the Co-Founder and Head of Treasury & Portfolio Management at APAC Financial Services Private Limited since July 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Edelweiss Financial Services as an Executive Vice President in the Credit & Fixed Income department from August 2015 to July 2018. Viswanathan was responsible for finding co-investors and selldown of Structured Finance and Real Estate Finance transactions, as well as leveraging institutional client relationships to originate Commercial Lending mandates. Viswanathan also found new investors for Edelweiss group funding requirements.

Before joining Edelweiss, Viswanathan worked at Deutsche Bank from August 2010 to August 2015 as the Head of Syndications in the Global Credit Trading department. In this role, they partnered with DB global network points for liquidity and credit arbitrage opportunities for Indian credits, and was a member of the team responsible for ensuring that DB Asia Loans business ranked among the top three on USD Loans league tables.

From January 2004 to July 2010, Viswanathan held the position of Regional Head of Credit Sales for South Asia at Standard Chartered Bank. Viswanathan played a key role in maintaining SCB India's status as the Best Debt House and topping the INR Bond league tables. Viswanathan also supported the portfolio management team in achieving SCB India's Risk Adjusted Weighted Average Cost of Capital (RiWAC) targets.

Earlier in their career, Viswanathan worked at ICICI Bank as a Relationship Manager in the Financial Institutions Group from November 2000 to December 2003. Their role involved financial institutions sales in treasury, actively participating in the reorganization of the bank's asset-liability profile and successfully executing the first set of securitization trades through loan assignment and pass through structures.

Viswanathan started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in October 1997, where they worked as an Associate in the Assurance & Business Advisory Services department. Viswanathan guided audit and business advisory teams in conducting statutory audits, concurrent audits, and other due-diligence exercises for various clients including banks and FMCG majors.

Viswanathan N completed a degree in ACA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, from 1997 to 2000.
