Wayne Turpin

Wayne Turpin is an experienced logistics and supply chain management professional currently serving as the Director of Logistics & Inventory Management at Apache Corporation since September 2011. With a strong background in overseeing global supply chain systems, Wayne has led teams in implementing the Source to Pay system, managing master data, and optimizing procurement processes. Previous roles at Apache included Category Manager and Materials Deputy General Manager, where Wayne focused on fleet management, procurement, and supply chain operations. Prior to Apache, career experiences spanned several companies, including Accenture and Wellogix, in various managerial and consulting positions. Wayne holds a Master’s degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems & Electronic Commerce from Curtin University. Military service included a role as a soldier in the Australian Army, focusing on infantry, transport, logistics, and heavy diesel mechanics.
