Maria Ritzer has a wealth of work experience in the hospitality industry. Maria began their career in 2008 as a Chef de Rang at The Gleneagles Hotel, followed by a Banqueting and Events role at Steigenberger Kurhaus Hotel. In 2010, they joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as a Finance Trainee for Africa & Indian Ocean, then as an Analyst for Financial Planning and Portfolio Management, and finally as a Specialist for EAME Financial Systems and Standards. In 2016, they moved to Highgate Hotels as an Asset Management Analyst. In 2017, they joined Marriott International as a Senior Manager of Change Management Lead APAC, where they managed project tasks, critical paths and milestones before and after Go-Live, as well as adoption analysis and strategy. Currently, they are a Senior Customer Success Manager at apaleo.
Maria Ritzer attended Hotelschool The Hague from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor in Hospitality Management.
