Andrew Connorton is the current Director of Programming & Design at Aparium Hotel Group. Andrew has held this position for the past 3 years and 6 months. Prior to this, they were the Vice President, Programming & Design, and then the Director, Programming & Design, at Aparium Hotel Group. Andrew has also worked as a Project Manager, Pre-Construction at MGM Resorts International where they managed PARK MGM Rebrand, ARIA Suites Remodel, ARIA Villas Remodel, Bellagio Tower Room Remodel, CATCH Las Vegas, On The Record, Bellagio Supper Club, Premium Restaurant & Bar Remodels, Cirque Du Soleil Theater Conversion, and Spa, Hair & Nail Salon projects. Andrew has also worked for Los Angeles Dodgers as Senior Manager, Planning & Development, Manager, Planning & Development, Coordinator, Planning & Development. Some of their responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of project planning and execution, budget management of capital improvement projects totaling over $200 Million, administering project financial’s, conducting site surveys and site visits with developers, architects and contractors to resolve design issues, conducting weekly owner, architect and contractor meetings for project integrity and to remedy potential project risks.
Andrew Connorton has a Master of Architecture from the State University of New York at Buffalo, with concentrations in Ecological Practices & Urban Planning, from 2011-2013. Prior to that, they received a Bachelors of Science in Architecture & Design from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 2007-2011. During their time at UL Lafayette, they were heavily involved on campus, serving as Chapter Treasurer and Chapter President for the American Institute of Architecture Students, as well as a College of the Arts Senator and SPARK's spokes person for the Student Government Association. Andrew was also the manager for the Beausoleil Solar Home Project and a campus promoter for MTV-U.
