Nicola Barison

Nicola Barison is an accomplished professional in the field of biologics with extensive experience in bioprocess development. Currently serving as the Technical Lead at APC Ltd since January 2018, Nicola leads a team focused on advancing biotechnological processes. Prior to this role, Nicola worked at Cobra Biologics from July 2013 to December 2017, progressing from Senior Downstream Process Development Scientist to Principal Downstream Process Development Scientist. Nicola's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Protein Crystallography from the University of Padova, complemented by degrees in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Health Biotechnology from the same institution. Additionally, Nicola gained research experience as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology from June 2010 to June 2013.
