Dajanique Rorie-Alston has a diverse range of work experience starting in 2021. Dajanique began their professional journey as a University Event Center Staff and Public Relations Intern at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from August to December 2021. In 2022, they served as the President of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and as a NextGen HBCU Fellow at ColorComm, Inc. Dajanique also worked as a Communications & Marketing Intern at the North Carolina Community Foundation from May 2022 to January 2023. In 2023, they took on the roles of a Public Relations Intern (HBCU Fellow) at PAN Communications and a Corporate Communications Intern at APCO Worldwide. Additionally, they were selected as an NBCU Fellow at NBCU Academy, where they worked from August 2022 to May 2023.
Dajanique Rorie-Alston began their education at Enloe High School, where they attended from 2015 to 2019. After graduating from high school, they enrolled in North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2019, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology. In 2020, they completed this degree program.
Dajanique then continued their studies at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, starting in 2021. Dajanique is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a specialization in Public Relations. This program is expected to be completed in 2023.
Additionally, in July 2021, Dajanique Rorie-Alston obtained an Agency-Ready Certificate from the PR Council.
