Juan Vizcarra

Juan Vizcarra has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Juan'smost recent position was as a Sustaining Engineer at Apeel, where they were responsible for maintenance management and execution, as well as project engineering for new integrations. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Engineer at GEA Group for three years. Before that, they served as a Field Service Engineer at Tetra Pak, supervising projects and maintenance services in the food and packing industry. Juan also provided engineering support for production processes in the dairy and beverage industry. As a Project Engineer Trainee at Alicorp SAA, Juan gained experience in project management, project coordination, and the selection of equipment for food production lines. Juan also worked at Kimberly-Clark as a Maintenance Assistant, where they managed production line maintenance, conducted technical and economic analysis, and implemented maintenance indicators using Lean SixSigma methodology. Juan's earlier experience includes internships at Ferreyros S.A.A. as a Continuous Improvement Intern and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. Juan Vizcarra's education history includes a Grado en Ingeniería (Bachelor's degree) in Ingeniería Mecánica from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, obtained in 2013. Juan also holds a Master's degree in Production Management from Universitat de Barcelona, which they pursued from 2021 to 2022. In 2020 to 2021, Juan obtained a Lean Six Sigma Professional Certificate in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Technical University of Munich. In 2017 to 2018, they completed a Professional Certificate in Project Management from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Additionally, Juan obtained a Professional Certificate Technician in Mantenimiento de equipos industriales/pesados from Tetra Pak Technical Program in 2014 to 2015. Juan also completed a full Professional Certification in Inglés (English) at Asociacion Cultural Peruano Britanica (Britanico).

In terms of additional certifications, Juan obtained a Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera in January 2023.
