Matt Kahlscheuer

Dr. Matt Kahlscheuer has an extensive work experience highlighted by their roles at various organizations. Matt began their career at St. Norbert College, where they served as a Chemistry Teachers Assistant and Tutor, as well as a Research Assistant. Matt then joined the University of Michigan as a Graduate Student Instructor, followed by a Ph.D. Graduate Student in Chemistry. After completing their Ph.D., they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Michigan. Since 2015, Dr. Kahlscheuer has been affiliated with Apeel, where they have held multiple positions. Matt started as the Head of Protein Formulations and later became a Staff Biological Scientist. Matt then advanced to the position of Director of Biological Sciences before assuming their current role as the Senior Director of Apeel Labs. Their work experience reflects their expertise in chemistry, biology, and research, making him a valuable asset in the field.

Matt Kahlscheuer, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry from St. Norbert College in the years 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued higher studies and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the University of Michigan, completing their degree from 2009 to 2015.
