Zakiul Kabir

Zakiul Kabir is the VP of Engineering at Apeel Sciences. Zakiul has also served as the Managing Director and Co-Founder at Ziel Process Solutions. In this role, they led cross-functional engineering and product development teams of 50+ individuals. Zakiul was also responsible for developing and commercializing a 5 kW CHP system with backup power capability.

Kabir has also been responsible for technology white-spacing, developing company’s IP strategy and managing the IP portfolio. Under their leadership, ClearEdge Power was granted 11 key patents, with multiple applications pending. Zakiul has also achieved CSA Listing for this product and led Engineering through ISO9001/14001 certification.

Currently, as the VP of Engineering at Apeel Sciences, Kabir is continuing their work in developing sustainable solutions that improve the quality of life for people around the world.

Zakiul Kabir has a SDM Graduate Certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in System Design Management, a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The City College of New York, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.

They are on a team with Adrian Cox - GM, Citrus, Megan Opp - Chief People Officer, and Matt Alexander - SVP, Business Affairs, General Counsel, & Corporate Secretary. Zakiul Kabir reports to James Rogers, Founder & CEO.
