Robson Machado has a work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Robson started at ArcelorMittal as a Technical Manager in September 2003 and worked in various roles including Project Manager and Production Manager. In September 2011, they joined Aperam as the Head of Melt Shop and then became the Head of Operational Excellence. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Environment, Health, and Safety at Aperam.

Robson Machado completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from Estácio between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Fundação Dom Cabral in 2008-2009. Their earliest education was at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from 1991 to 1996, where they studied Metallurgical Engineering.
