Michael Flaherty has a wealth of experience in the energy industry, beginning in 1984 as a Senior Financial Analyst at National Grid. Michael then worked as a Teacher and Coach at Bishop Feehan High School from 1982 to 1984. In 1992, they took on the role of Vice President of Energy Policy and Analysis at the Northeast Gas Association. From 1996 to 2007, they served as Vice President of Marketing at Pace Global Energy Services. Michael then worked as Vice President of Business Development at Aspen Technology from 2007 to 2015, and Vice President - Key Accounts at Fiserv from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they became Vice President Strategic Partnerships at ESAI Energy LLC, and in 2021 they were appointed Vice President Strategic Accounts at APERIO.

Michael Flaherty completed a BA in Economics from McGill University in 1982, followed by an MBA in Finance from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University in 1986. In 1986, they also obtained a Certificate of International Marketing from Ecole Superieure de Commerce - Reims. In 2005, they completed an Executive Integral Leadership Program from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business. Michael Flaherty's educational journey began at Bishop Feehan High School.
