Shirl Gager

Shirl Gager, CPA, currently serves as Operations Controller and Accounting Manager at Apex Clean Energy, focusing on asset management for clean energy initiatives with several billion dollars under management. Prior experience includes roles as Accounting Manager/Project Accountant at Toshiba America Energy Systems, where Shirl developed and coordinated financial assessments for large-scale projects exceeding $700 million, and managed full accounting functions for the Hydro Division. Shirl has also held positions such as Manager of Project Analysis and Development at Community Power Corporation and Accounting Consultant at Colorado Forest and Energy, contributing to financial modeling and project financing for renewable energy ventures. Earlier career experience includes serving as Finance Director at SUPERVALU, overseeing significant financial reporting and compliance activities. Shirl holds a MPrA in Tax and a BS in Accounting from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business.
