Daniel Gicklhorn

Daniel Gicklhorn has a diverse work experience. Daniel currently holds the position of VP of Products at Apex Fintech Solutions since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Microsoft for several roles. From 2020 to 2022, they were the Director of Product Management for Azure Networking Cloud CDN Growth, leading a team in delivering business strategy, growth, and partnerships for Azure Core Networking's Cloud CDN products. Before that, from 2017 to 2020, they served as the Lead Product Manager for Azure Networking, Front Door, where they launched and grew Microsoft's native Content and Application Delivery (CDN) offering. Daniel also held the position of Lead Program Manager for Azure Networking, Cloud CDN Infrastructure from 2014 to 2017, where they led a team in designing and building Microsoft's CDN infrastructure. Additionally, from 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Program Manager for Bing, where they served as the product lead for real-time Flighting services. Before joining Microsoft, they worked at Samsung Information Systems America as a Senior Software Engineer from 2008 to 2011.

Daniel Gicklhorn began their education journey in 2003 at Sonoma State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. It lasted for four years until 2007.

Following their undergraduate studies, Daniel decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills in Computer Science. Daniel enrolled in Cornell University in 2007 to pursue a Masters of Engineering degree in the same field. This program lasted for a year and was completed in 2008.

Therefore, Daniel Gicklhorn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Sonoma State University and a Masters of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Cornell University.
