Bethwel Raore

Bethwel Raore, MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon currently practicing at Apex Spine and Neurosurgery since July 2020. Previous experience includes roles as a neurosurgeon at Gwinnett Medical Center from September 2016 to July 2020 and at Miami Valley Hospital between July 2012 and August 2015. Additionally, Bethwel Raore served as an assistant professor in the Neurology and Surgery Departments at Wright State University from July 2013 to August 2015 and worked as a locum tenens neurosurgeon from August 2015 to August 2016. Bethwel Raore completed a surgical leadership program at Harvard Medical School in March 2023 and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Creighton University School of Medicine, obtained in 2005. A foundational Bachelor's degree was earned at Grinnell College, with earlier education at Maseno School. Training in neurosurgery was conducted at Emory University School of Medicine from July 2005 to June 2012.
