Vice President - Global Alliances & Strategic Accounts at Apexon

Ashok Karania has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ashok started their career in 1999 as a Business Development Manager at Magnet Technologies. Ashok later joined Children Toy Foundation as a Summer Intern before moving on to ICICI Prudential AMC as a Project Trainee. In 2002, they worked as an Area Sales Executive at Henkel India.

In 2004, Ashok became the MD & CEO at Magnet Technologies, where they led a team of 100+ professionals in software development. Ashok stayed with the company until 2009.

From 2010 to 2018, Ashok founded and worked as the Founder of Mobile Monday Ahmedabad, a community that promotes mobile technology and networking in the mobile industry. Ashok also served as a Mentor at Moodcafe during this time.

In 2009, Ashok joined InfoStretch, where they held various leadership positions. As Vice President - Global Alliances & Strategic Accounts, they focused on developing, managing, and scaling alliances to enhance InfoStretch's offerings. Ashok also managed strategic accounts and ensured the realization of business vision through a consultative approach. Ashok later became Vice President - Europe Business, Vice President - EMEA Business & Global Alliances, and Director - Enterprise Mobility Sales & Strategy. In these roles, they spearheaded sales, strategy, and partnerships in various regions and led cross-functional collaborations.

In 2022, Ashok joined Apexon as the Vice President - Global Alliances & Strategic Accounts, where they continue to drive key partnerships for customer value and business success.

In addition to their professional experience, Ashok also served as a Mentor at Gujaratilexicon, a landmark work in the history of the Gujarati language. Ashok contributed to its preservation, popularization, and development through information technology.

Ashok Karania began their education by earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai between 1994 and 1999. Ashok then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing and Finance at SP Jain Institute of Management & Research from 2000 to 2002. Following this, they went on to attain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Policy & Administration from the University of Mumbai from 2007 to 2013. In 2018, Ashok Karania participated in an Executive Education program called the Oxford Fintech Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
