Shikhar Khanna

Shikhar Khanna has over 15 years of experience in data management and analysis. Shikhar started their career at Infosys as a Data Warehouse Analyst, where they handled data management requests and performed data analysis for brokerages. Shikhar then worked as a Data Quality Analyst at CapitalOne, where they implemented a top-down Enterprise Standard Data Warehouse. In this role, they identified and measured data assets for critical reports and ensured data accuracy. Shikhar also worked as a BI Developer at American Express, where they designed and developed reports and OLAP cubes using Cognos.

In 2014, Shikhar joined Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Business Data Analyst and was part of the Customer Intelligence Program for JPMorgan Chase. Shikhar focused on integrating subject areas to deliver a Single View of Enterprise Customer and ensure regulatory compliance. Shikhar later joined DSW as a Senior Data Engineer, where they worked until 2020. At DSW, they gained experience in ETL infrastructure migration.

Currently, Shikhar is employed by Apexon as a Senior Data Architect. Shikhar'sresponsibilities include assisting in the migration of ETL infrastructure for USAA and utilizing tools such as dbt, Snowflake, git, CI/CD, datastage, and Netezza.

Shikhar Khanna received a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from CMR Institute of Technology in Bengaluru, graduating in 2005. Shikhar then pursued a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing their studies in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Shikhar also obtained several certifications. Shikhar completed various courses in algorithmic toolbox, graph analytics for big data, machine learning with big data, big data integration and processing, and big data modeling and management systems from the University of California San Diego. These certifications were obtained between June 2017 and August 2017.

Shikhar also completed a Data Scientist with R Track of 95 hours from DataCamp in May 2017, and completed courses in text mining, machine learning, and unsupervised learning in R from DataCamp in March and April 2017.

Furthermore, Shikhar holds certifications in Base Programmer for SAS 9 from SAS, obtained in August 2013, and IBM Certified Designer - Cognos 8 BI Reports from IBM, obtained in April 2009.
