Carrie Harter

Carrie Harter is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in infection prevention, epidemiology, and disease control. Currently serving as a Project Manager at APIC Consulting Services, Inc. since November 2022, Carrie previously held the position of Infection Prevention Manager at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, where leadership was provided for a comprehensive infection prevention and control program. Prior roles include Director of Disease Control at Florida Health, overseeing multiple public health programs, and lead Epidemiologist at the Florida Department of Health in Manatee County, managing public health investigations and surveillance initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Health from Florida International University and a Bachelor's degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Western Michigan University.
