George Kalfas is an experienced research associate at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since July 2016, actively working on several significant projects including the Marie-Curie FP7 project COMANDER and the H2020 IA project 5G-PHOS. In addition to the current role, George has held various research positions at AUTH since January 2013, including a Marie-Curie Fellow, and has been seconded to iQuadrat in Barcelona. Previous experience includes a research assistant role at the Informatics and Telematics Institute from November 2006 to December 2012 and research assistant positions at both the Informatics and Telematics Institute and AUTH in 2008. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Signal Theory and Communications from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Networks and Computer Science, respectively, from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
