Ioannis Fouzas

Ioannis Fouzas is a highly experienced medical professional with a focus on organ transplantation and surgery. Currently serving as the Director of the Division of Organ Transplantation and the Hippokration Hospital Transplant Center since January 2015, Ioannis holds the title of MD, PhD, and Professor of Surgery at the Aristotle University Medical School. Additionally, Ioannis has been the Director of the Division of Organ Transplantation since June 2017 and a Visiting Professor of Surgery at the Department of General, Visceral, and Transplantation Surgery since May 2015. Prior to these roles, Ioannis practiced as a General and Hepatobiliary Surgeon at St Lucas General Private Clinic from January 2009 to May 2015. Education was completed at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 1983 to 1990.
